Notepad clone NOCs

Notepad clone NOCs looks and behaves exactly like the regular Windows utility, but instead of modifying local files, you can record and edit text notes directly on your Google Docs account.

Once you've downloaded, installed the utility, and enter your Google account information, you can create and save text notes directly to Google Docs. Notes can be encrypted by pressing a button in the preferences, and you can switch from one account to another with ease.

The only real problem is that the notes are stored in the Google Docs side in a single spreadsheet, and is not human readable, but if you are looking for a way to store and quickly retrieve the notes that may be available from any computer (with installed NOC), may be worth a look. NOC is open source and open, available only for Windows.

Gmail already has several important issues, but if you've never been satisfied with the disease of Gmail, the user script turns Gmail Helvetimail a Helvetica-based, stripped of the interface.

Helvetimail course clear if the final step in the application of minimal design, with the Helvetica font for web applications most popular (see above Helvetical, Helvetireader and Helvetwitter). To use the script, you must activate the specials issues minimalist Gmail settings. Then, depending on what browser you use, you must install the user script. (Users of Firefox, if you have Greasemonkey installed, click the script name on the page Helvetimail install. For the rest of you, the author of the script has instructions for different browsers.)

Helvetimail is probably the least attractive group Helvetas-user scripts that we have seen (I love the look of Helvetical), but if you're a big fan of the users contribute, minimal drawings Helvetica, worth a look.

Better spell checkers in WordPress

Automattic, the company behind WordPress, has acquired a spiffy spell named after the deadline. Is now available on Wordpress blogs, and can be activated in the Wordpress visual editor by clicking the ABC button with the green check mark (If you use WordPress.org install, get the plugin). After the deadline is smarter than the spelling used in desktop applications, by analyzing the millions of posts from Wordpress.com to create the context and do things like correct names.

After the deadline are many mistakes that spell checkers others. If you use "new" instead of "knew" for example, ATD will know if you have the right in its context. You can also view the photographs, negatives of marriage, the passive voice, and other problems that weaken your writing in general. ATD also gives tight control over these elements of style: you can do to stop the verification of certain problems, or teach him to ignore his intention, but technically incorrect, the choice of words. ATD works only with English law now, but other languages are in preparation.

Posting from AIM to Facebook or Twitter

AOL has been experimenting with Twitter and Facebook in the integration of AOL Instant Messenger for some time, allowing you to read your updates to these services, and other foods from the AIM client. In the latest beta version, integration is a step further, allowing the visualization of AIM on Facebook or Twitter. The large jump in read-only reading / writing is just the latest update in a range of social networking features of AIM. All this is part of the purpose of Vital, and you can add your accounts Lifestream AOL page.

Long ago, used to support Twitter updates via IM, but fell by the wayside and is no longer a priority, so it's good to see that the idea was picked up a final backup of AIM. Lifestream AIM has quietly added a bunch of other office this summer, too: you can now see the buddy lists you're on, Diggs and share your Flickr photos, and register to receive updates via SMS Vital.

Feedroller - put your RSS feeds in the top right of the screen

If you have additional space to devote to monitoring compliance with the latest news, Feedroller can put your RSS feeds in the top right of the screen.

Intelligent design is just a black banner that moves, but Feedroller has some useful features. You can adjust the age of new shows to determine how long the cursor will automatically hide in the field of new black before he appears again, and set the shortcut keys and combinations of colors.

These buttons can perform almost all functions Feedroller's. You can pause the stream, off the top of the screen, see the article that appears, enter the standby mode for a specified period of time. When the command is paused, you can navigate with the arrow keys (or mouse wheel) to look back through former owners.

Windows 7 has several convenient shortcuts to move and resize application windows

Windows 7 already has several convenient shortcuts to move and resize application windows. If you are using an older version or if you want a more broad scope, take a look at WinLayout.

The free and open source is based on the top of AutoHotkey and adds a serious kung fu agreement on the keyboard of his beloved.

For basic operations, WinLayout slices of your screen into a 3x3 grid (that tic-tac-toe). Hold down the Windows key and press the button to send a request to this position on the grid - 7 = top left, 5 = center, 3 = bottom right, etc.

Windows can be resized and moved in increments of one pixel. A word of warning: It is not surprising that some commands do not interfere with the built in Windows 7.
