Posting from AIM to Facebook or Twitter

AOL has been experimenting with Twitter and Facebook in the integration of AOL Instant Messenger for some time, allowing you to read your updates to these services, and other foods from the AIM client. In the latest beta version, integration is a step further, allowing the visualization of AIM on Facebook or Twitter. The large jump in read-only reading / writing is just the latest update in a range of social networking features of AIM. All this is part of the purpose of Vital, and you can add your accounts Lifestream AOL page.

Long ago, used to support Twitter updates via IM, but fell by the wayside and is no longer a priority, so it's good to see that the idea was picked up a final backup of AIM. Lifestream AIM has quietly added a bunch of other office this summer, too: you can now see the buddy lists you're on, Diggs and share your Flickr photos, and register to receive updates via SMS Vital.
